As spring slowly starts to arrive in Northern Michigan, Bennethum’s is rolling out an all-new themed menu: Island Cuisine. This menu is an exploration of culinary creations that can be found on tropical islands throughout the world. These fresh island flavors are sure to surprise your tastebuds and keep you coming back throughout the month of April to experience more.  Stop in soon and enjoy them for yourself!

  When you visit Bennethum’s during the month of April, start off with our Mango Chicken Lollipops, Crispy Key West Shrimp, or a Bungalow Salad.  Featured entrees include Coconut Almond Chicken, Blackened Mahi Tacos, Island Sticky Ribs, or Macadamia Crusted Ahi Tuna.  Be sure to save room for this month’s featured dessert – Homemade Key Lime Pie!

 Thursday April 6th At 6:00 pm- Chateau  Ste. Michelle Wine Tasting

We are quite excited to announce a special Wine Tasting featuring the premier line of “single vineyard” estate wines from the famed Chateau Ste. Michelle in beautiful Washington State! Known for their overall value as well as their superb quality, CSM has long been a favorite property of the wine program here at BNI. The format for this event will be different from our Wine Dinner Events, with light hors d’oeuvres served throughout the evening to enhance the beautiful showcase of wines. We hope you can join us for this casual wine party. It is sure to be a night to remember!

April 17th – Australian Wine Dinner

Our wine dinner patrons have shown much interest in an Australian event, and April 17th will be that day! After years of dominating the US wine market (i.e. the “Shiraz Boom”), followed by over a decade of saturating retail shelves with low-quality “critter wines” (and paying a steep price for an overall drop in quality), the Aussie’s have come to realize what the current wine scene demands here in the US: quality & diversity. We plan to showcase just that from some of Australia’s most highly regarded producers. Please join us for a night of “Down Under” vinous delight, along with a tasty gourmet meal!




The wine dinner is $90 per person plus tax and gratuity. Due to the exclusive nature of these events, a credit card is required for booking. Reservations not canceled within 48 hours of the event will be subject to a charge of $50 per person. The event starts promptly at 6:30.
